Meeting was called to order b y mayor A N Me Kay.
All members of the council were present except Alderr.~an
H T Wall.
Minute of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills
The following bills were approved and ordered paid.

REPORT OF COI~ZR'~ TTEES.
Alderman Ruff reported for the St. and Bridges committee
that the matter of purchacing the street maintainer from
A H Norris had been defered for the present.
Alderman Counts reported for the st. lighting committee
that the Officials of the Sou. W Bell Tel. Co. promised
~~' to submit ~~ figures s •howing the earnings of the company.
Alderman Counts reported that Mr. H 0 Clark of the Hou.
Lighting and Power Co • refused to donate the power for the
fire sirene but suggested that b y hooking it up with the
power line at the pumping plant the flat rate of ~5 00
per month could be saved and the actual power used would
be charged at pumping power rate.
Alderman Ruff reported for the Sewer Committee that the
committee had not met to consider the matter of connections
to privately installed laterals.

Mayor A N Mc Kay presented the name of C J Wilson for the
ratification of the council, as Fire Marshal. The appoint-
ment was rattified unanimously. Alderman Counts Moved to
ratify. Z~,e motion was seconded by Alderman Ruff.
mayor D~Ic Kay asked the council to ratify his commissions
to S A Hatfield and Warren Anderson as deputy City Marshals
serving under E L Crane at Sylvan Beach Park.
Alderman Counts moved to ratify the commissions provided
the parties were satisfactory to City Marshal Santa Rosa.
The motion was seconded by Alderman Sahrp.
• Carried .
The proposition to run a line from the Fire Hall to the
pump plant for the sirene was refered to the Street Light-
ing Committee to get prices on the cost of same.

Alderman Counts offered a motion which was seconded
b y Alderman Sandel that the sewer committee investigate
the proposed sewer connections for Nrs.Nlaude Dais and
J K Purifoy with power to act.
Carried.
Alderman Counts offered a motian which was seconded by
Alderman Ruff that the Fire commission meet with th®
Fire Chief and investigate insurance policies covering
the members of the Fire Dept. -:FisB~~.~f~];~-:.~~u~pr~en~
with power to act.
Carried
Alderman Counts offered an amendment to above motion
that the Fire Committee also investigat the policies
covering the fire equipment with power to act.
Ald®rman Ruff seconded the amendment which carried.
No forth®r business to come before the council ad-
~ournment was taken.
