The following bills were presented and ordered paid.

Cit~T Sect y. read ~ letter from the La Porte Hdw. Co.
stating that they desired their contract for sewer connection
be cancelled upon colrpletion of the B F Howald connection.
Alderman Counts presented a motion which was seconded by Ald-
eri~ian Sandel that bids be asked for on future sewer connections.
Carried.
By a motion offered by Alderman Ruff and seconded by Alderman
Sharp, the Cit~T Sect y. was authorized to transfer .;,400 00 to
tr;e Ge3~era1 Fund from the '~~~Jater Fund as a loan so that obliga-
tiar~s of the General fund could be met.

The bill of u'Jm Casteel for the di~;Ling of the ditch along B
st. was again presented.

An application fora permit to install plumbing in a building
at the corner of P,iain find Blackwell ave., made by F R Stroup
was denied by the plumbing inspector for the reason that they
had not installed a trap and vent in the line from the floor
drain to the line entering the septic tank.
By a motion by Alderman. Ruff and seconded by Alderman Sharp
the matter was refered to the Sewer committee.
