All members of the c:ouricil were present. 14;inutes of the
previous were read and approved.
The following, bills v~rere presented and ordered

Fire Insurance Policies on the Reo and Am. La France
written by the "Homeland Fire Tns. Co. F R Boyle Agt. was
accepted by the council by a motion made by Ald. tigee and
seconded by Ald. Counts. ~ _
. Alderman Agee offered a motion seconded by Ald.
Counts that the 1V;ayor appoint a committee to investigate
the matter of croating 'a. Peddlers Liscense.

act on this committee 'and report to the coui:sil at the
next meeting .
Alderman Counts offered a motion seconded by
.Alderman Agee that an ordinance prohibiting the deposit-
ing of circulars on the streets, sidetivalks and layvns in
the city ~.irrits be createdp

The P~,ayor instructed the committee on Peddlers Liscense
to prepare this liscense to be brot before the council
at the Welt regular meeting ,
- h~ 0 S.orenssen appeared before the cotulcil and
regmested that the city grade 9th. street from Tr~.in to
the south line of his property as the sewer baekfi_ll had
]:eft the street in a condition that made ~ it almost in;-
posaible for him to get into his place.
i~lderman Ruff offered a motion seconded by Ald. Counts that
the City Secy. get quotations on this grading and let
the contract t o the lowest bidder . ,°
