Meetir~; was called to order by mayor A N N1c Hay. The
fo:~lowing members of the council were present. ^red H Ruff,
geo. Counts and L C Lawrence.
The $~n~htes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Bill from B F Uoodrich Co. for X375 v0 due in one and two
years was ordered tabled .
Alderman Counts made a motion which was seconded by Alderman
Huff that the appointment of D it Aves ~ D as City Health
officer b® approved .
Carried
A motion by Ald. Counts and seconded by Ald. Lawrence author-
izing the transfer of X175 00 from tine water Fund to the general
fund to take care of current expenses.

~ Alderman Huff offered a motion seconded by Alderman Lawrence
that A T seamen be charged for water service at his office
beginning August one.
Carried
Alderman Counts offered a motion seconded by Alderman huff
that Mrs. R~,ry Bliss be furnished water at her home gratis
until further orders.
Carried
The appointment of ueo. Counts as acting City Fire Iv;arshal
during the abscense of Chas. ~~Iilson was approved by a motion
by Alderman Lawrence which was seconded by Ald. Huff.
Alderman Counts offered a motion seconded by Ald. Ruff that
the Secre~Etary write t o Raymond 5 Mauk for inf ormation as t o
the registeration fee at the Firemens School of Training to
be held at College Station Duly 17 and 18 and that the matter
of the city financing the expenses of a representati~se from
La torte be refered to the finance committee with power to
act provided the cost is reasonable.
Carried.
No further business to come before the council adjournment
