The follov~ring bills ~rrere presnted and ordered paid.
La Porte Lbr. Co. ~8 76. I~.agnolia~ Filling Station y~5 48.
' Bids for grading certain shell streets vrere ordered
tabled untill Ira i~:iller com.ld be seen about his
equipment .
By rrlotion by A1d. Agee, seconded by Ald. Sharp tree
~, i street ditch along the wrest side of Broadvray from
Five Points to Sou. A st. was ordered opened and
brought to grade and u~hless the county would install
. a culvert ire front of J J ~Reyn~lds property that the
ditch be left open.
On motion by Ald. Counts and second by Ald. Sharp
I~!t the City Sect y. va&S instructed to furnish water to
the IV;asonic order at their hall vrithout cnaxge
from ~Tanuary 1-1934.

On a motion by xld. Counts and second by Ald. Agee
the matter of a settlernent,with the proper author-
s ~ sties for tYie Sylvan Beach Add.., of the controversy
concerning the rights of the Gity of La Porte to
control delinquent water consumers eras rcfered to the
Water Committee with power to act.

A nevr contract vaith the uouston Lighting a~.d Power Co.
for the furnishing of street lights owes presented to
the council. The following vacs the results ai a vote
to reject the clew contract on a motion by A1d. Sharp
~ ~ which owes seconded by Ald. Agee.

rejecting.
