The following merrbers of the council were present Ald. Fred Miff, Ueo. Counts and L C Lawrence. The following bills were presneted and ordered paid. Otis Harrison, ~4 50. Five Points Service Sta.~y 5 70/ By a motion by Ald. Counts and secon ~de~ by Ald. ~a.ff the city Seery. was instructed to with hold any further payments to J H Rafferty on his Eason the final Sewer estimate until he had delivered into the hands of the City Sec-y. all blue prints and data on the Sewer System and Vdater 'Extension projects. Carried Alderman Geo. Counts reported for the Street Lighting committee that the street lights near Guy Hamiltons, the b'a~ estic Cafes , the Shannon bldg . and J S Johnsons have been discontinued as a test and that there had been no complaints. Alderman Counts reported for the Street Lighting Committee that the matter of a reduction on the minimum rate for domestic consumera~ was gone into and it ~E~ developed that in as much as 94% of domestic consumers used over the minimum they would not benefit by a reduction and that an effort would be made to get a reduction in the rate per K W. Alderman Counts reported for the Street and A11ey Com. that it will coat ~p225 00 to put 300 C Y gravel on >w. Carrot ave. from Ivia.in to C and that property owners ~~ would raise between X75 00 and ~p100 00 toward th® prod act . No further business to come before the council adjournment was taken.
