Minutes af. the previous meeting were read and approved.
'; The following bills were presented and ordered paid.

,. There being_ no unfinished or committee reports the
~~ -~ Council proceeded. to New Business.

fir. L D Highf.il presented a proposition for s traffic
°~~ ~~ ~ light .system. at Five Points without haoing.. a light in

1 the center of the. street as formally proposed.
., .;i Ald... Agee offered 8 motion that. the proposition, o8
Mr... Hight-ils be. rejected on. account of lack of Citg

fund.., Al.d.. warp seconded. the motion which.. carried.
- The Mayor presen~~d a request from F T Baldwin that
;, '~ ~ ~ a credit of X41 34 which he had with the city for pipe
he had. installed. and. for which.he was to ~mave credit
~~ ' on his water account be transfered to the credit of
_~ ~ ~~ Mrs. Judge Robt Johns water account.
Alderman Agee. made. a motion which was seconded by Ald.
=' ` ~~ ` ~ ` Roark.. that the. credit be transfered.

~` A complaint was presented from Mrs Robt. Johns through
. ~ i Mr.. J R Williams as to the condition of the alley in
;,~_ :~ the rear of her property on the bay.. die matter was
`; :, v refered to the Street and Bridge Committee. _
