.~.eeting was called to order by mayor :i B Harrison.
The foll01v1ng members of the council ti°rere present.
gild. Counts, Agee, and Lawrence.

There being no unfinished business on hand the couricml
proceeded to Nevr rusiness.
`1'he Secretary read a letter from the Sou. Pac. x rt Co.
granting the city an extension of time to Sept. 30/34
in vrhich to pay the balance due on gravel and an exten-
sion of time to -ec. 31/34 in vrhich. to remove all gavel
from the right of vray. i,lso stipulating that the city
vrould not remove any more gravel until the account eras
paid in full.
Al d. Agee offered .a °;.otion vrhich ti^ras seconded by Al d.
Lawrence to accept the proposition.
Carried.
Gordon Fllis appeared before the board asking that tn.e
city pay one third of the cost of repairing the cement
walk in front of his property on I~~ain st.
Ald. Agee oi'fered a mo~;ion which ~rras seconded by ~Ild.
Counts that the matter be refered to tn.e St. and Bridge
committee vrith pourer to act, there being an prdinnace
to the effect that the city vrould pay one third the cost
of laying nevr cement vralks or repairing old ones and that
the ~~.~ork must be done in accordance with city speci.f'ications.
Carried.
Al d. Agee offered a motion vrhich eras seconded by Ald. Laurence
t`~.at the P~Piayor appoint a committee to meet with I~s. Kiibler
and draw up a Peddlers License and present it to the
council at the next meeting.
Carried.
The matter of purchac ing another typevrriter for the
office tivas refered to the chairman of the .Finance committee.
The Sec' y. asked the council to approve an agreercient
made by the ''later Corr^xrittee with i;~iss..N S :air tn.at the
city would allow her w22.00 for 350 feet more or less of
vrater line laid at her expense from her property line
in the alley in the rear of her property to the city
