11~Ieeting was called to order by Itiiayor H B Harrison. The following
members of the council were present.
Aldermen Counts, Agee and Roark
Iyiinutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The following bills were presented and ordered paid.

Al d. Counts oi'fered a motion vrhich was seconded by Ald. Roark
instructing the City Sect to write a letter to the mew
Fire Chief of the La Porte Vol. Fire Dept. commending the
members of the fire depat~tment for the faithful performance
of their duty and esspecially commending the following
members who attained the four highest grades in attendance
;~ to meetings and fire drills and responding to fire calls.
