The follovring members of the council were present. rlld. Counts, Lavrrence, tigee and r~oark. i:.inutes of the previoux meeting vras read and approved. SecretaryrRust asked the council for instructions as to the handling of excess water consumption due to froLen vrater pipes. Ald. Counts moved and Ald. Roark seconded a mo~rion that water consumers be required to pay for excesss water un- less after diligent investigation it is found an erroE has been made in reading the meter. • Carried. A1d~ ~igee offered a motion vr'nich was seconded by A1d.Counts th~.t,effective immediately followiu~g receipt of notice from the ~'Jater Department, alb. ~.wat~r-~meters serving two or more houses o~vned by one party will be charged the minimum charge for each house plus the excess over the minimum allovred for each house This action recinds action taken by the council under date of February/f~~t~G1~ twelth 1934 in minute book #r three. Carried 111d. Counts offered a motion vrnich vras seconded by Ald. Agee that grater consumers making claim of having paid their account must produce a receipt for the account in question or pay the account as shovrn by the water departments books. Carri ea.
