Counts moved that the Ordinance be addopted;seconded . by Ald. Lawrence. Carried. Ald. I L PAGE THAE'~ Alderman„Couxit~ moved that the City donate the old City Hall building to the "Hovey Rethea Post }~ 42~~ ~o be used as a Legion Hall and that ou~rnership revert to the City should the building cease to be used for that purpose and that the building be allowed to remain on its s present site until such a time as the property is required by the city. The matian carried by the following votes. Aldermen Counts, Sharp, Agee, Lawrence and Roark voting AYS; NOI~?~ noting N0. Alderman Counts moved that after T:iarch one 1935 the city require all persons connecting with the cities sewer system to pay the usual connection fee of ~i15.00. and that all C ~N A Appli cati ons be Void. Carried: Alderman Counts moved that the owners of the "Verginia Courtst' be required to connect their buildings with the cities sewer system and pay the usual fee of ~;15.00~. The mo~i on v~ras duly seconded by Alderman Agee a.nd carried. Alderman Agee moved- that the Sewer Cairmi ttee have dra~~n up, an C}rdinance requiring all publis~ places to instal sani- tary sewer appliances in their places of business and con- nect 1'Jlth the Cities sewer system. Carri ed. Alderr~~an ~ge:eL.s moved that the Iy:ayor appoint a Committee to locate a dump truck for consi deration of purchace by the City and report back at the next meeting. 1`he T~layor appointed Aldermen Sharp and Roark as a comr~~it~ee. ~... 'PAGE FOLffi i Alderman moved that the ~~Vater Committee ask for bids on the labor for constructing a roof over the settling tank at Well ~ l; Also procure prices on the necessary material and report back at the next meeting. Carried . ` Alderman Counts moved that April one 1935 be fixed as the final date on v~rhi ch 1934 taxes may be paid without penalty and interest; the motion was duly seconded by Ald.
