Meeting was called to order by h~ayor H B Harrison.
All members of the Council were present except Ald.
Sharp .
l~.inutes of the previ ous meetings mere read and approved.
A bill from Jno. S Kiibler for X22.68 to cover premium
on Insurance policies # 48-560852 and X48-30902 was
approved.
Ald. Agee moved that upon receipt of report from Eng-
ineer Culpepper concerning changes in location of elec-
tric motors in lift plants the water committee report
to Mayor Harrison who would calla special meeting to
take action on his report. Ald. ttoark seconded the
motion.

Ald. Counts made a motion which was seconded by Ald,
Roark that; in the futiu~e any person, Firm or Corp-
oration building or repairing cement walks on City
property must first obtain permit from the City Sec' y.
Work to be done according to specifications furnished
by t~~ie City and contract let only on approval by the
Chairman of the Street and Bridge Committee.
Carried.
Bids were submitted from L H biushaway and ~~ D i~o ston
Por Auditing the Cities accounts. Bids were for 150.00
by L A D~ushaway and a maximum of ~p250.00 by 'r~ D Royston.
On motion by Ald. Counts and second by Ald. Lawrence
both bids were rejected and the Sect y. instructed to
ask for new bids.

~i motion by A1d.Counts and second by Ald. Roark the
Committee on purehace of a dump truck was discharged
ans a new committee consisting of Ald. Lawrence,Roark
and Counts was appointed by the Mayor.
