T«eeting was called to order by P~:ayor H b Harrison. The
following members of the counciil. were present.
Alderman Counts, Roark Boyle and Holton.
The following bills were presented and ordered paid.

By a motion made by Ald. Holton and seconded by Al.d. Counts
Newspaper reporters were extended an invitation to sit at the
council table with the councilmen.
Carried.
Ald. Counts offered a motion which eras seconded by Aid.
Roark that the City Sect y. be instructed to recover X60.00
now in the First National rs~ as unused interest funds and
deposit it in the Interest and Sinking Fund.
Carried .
Alderman Counts made a motion which was seconded by Ald.
' Moyle that the Council go on reecord as appreciating the
work done by the auditing firm of Learned and Tapp in the
auditin of the cities accounts.
Carried.
By motion of Ald. Counts and second b~ A1d. Roark the
Pv':ayor and City Sect y. was instructed to cancel ~,p2,374.61 in
La Porte Kefunding YVarrants 1930 issues tgat was issued to
pay the expense of completeing certain unfinished items in
connection with the Sewer, YJater and Street project.

By a motion made by Ald. Boyle and seconded by Ald. Counts
that it be permissable to use second harsh iron or galvanized
water pipe in extension of water lines after being inspected
by the water committee and approved by them.
Carried.
,~ Ey a motion by Ald. Counts and second by Ald. hol~ton
the City Sec' y. was instructed to allow full amount of
water accounts to apply as credit on pipe bought and :in-
stalled by water consumer.
Carried.

By motion by Ald. Boyle ans second icy Ald. Roark the
bridge on Roscoe St. between Lobit and Carroll streets was
closed for repairs .
Carried .
Ald. Holton offered a motion which was seconded by Ald.
i Roark that where one person owns several pieces of property
on ~~rhich are situated several houses that one minimum charge
of X1.50 be made for each connection to the water main and not
a minimum charge of x¢1.50 for each house. The moyi on carri ed
by the follo~rring record vote.
