P,~inutes of the previous meeting were read. and approved. All members of the Counci 1 were present. The following bills were presented and ordered paid. u~orkman and Arthur,~12.50. B F Goodrich Rubber Co.,~ 96.86. C U Godkin,~1.50. Pfeiffer Elec. Co.,~i1.15. La Porte HdVr. Co. ' w6.80. Harty Lyons and King,~2.50. R H Baker,~35.00. Geo. Flair, X4.60. Houston Lighting and Pov~rer Co., yi121.24. ~ By a moti on by Ald. Counts and second by Ald. Foyle the City Secy. was instructed to ascertain the number of gallons of _ gasoline purchaced by the City during the past ~~~~ twelve months. J L Dunham appeared before the council and asked that he be reimbursed for tvro days in which his water service was cut on account of non payment of his water bill. His request was granted by a motion by Ald. Counts and a second by Ald. Holton. Ald. Agee offered a motion which was seconded by Ald. Holton that all water consumers delinquent in their account two months or more are to be discontinued after serving notice in writing. ~e motion carried. Roark offered a motion wrhich ~raas seconded by Ald. Holton 1 that h,r. Jno. S Kiibler be employed as City Attorney at a salary of X25.00 per months dating from April 1/35. ~ Carri ed . Zhe Biuiget Committee presented a budget to the Mayor and Council for their approvals which was accepted by a moti on by Ald. Holton and a second by Ald. Roark. ~:~. The motion carried by the follovring record vote. Ald. Agee Yes A1d. Holton Yes. Ald. Roark Yes Ald. Boyle Yes Ald. Counts No. Alderman Counts offer ed a moti on which was seconded by Al.d. Roark that the tax payers be notified through the local papers that a copy of the 1935 Budget is on file at the office of the City Sec' y. where seen and that the council invites any taxpayer having any objeastions to any part of the Budget to appear before the Council at their next regular meeting and present their grievaneE:s. Carri ed. Alderman Boyle made a motion which was seconded by Ald. Holton that the St. and Bridge committee repair the broken concrete in the drive into Dr. F Ni Harrisons place. The motion wasp defeated by the follov~ring record- vote. Ald. Holton Yes. Ald. Boyle Yes.. Ald. Counts No. ,~ Ald. Agee No. Ald. Roark No. The city Sec' y. was instructed to notify Dennis P.adgit and ,P~.iai~ .that the city had been overcharged on traeir insurance policies Cr .U X~.~25111 and ;, 2511a vuhich expired Baa,~r~~~fcurth 1935 and request a re fund. Ald. Agee offered a motion which was seconded by Ald. Holton that the Street and Bridge Committee be sutharized to replace the bridge over gully on Roscoe st. as they see fit. Carried. Ald. Agee offered a motion which was seconded by Ald. Holton that 7th and 8th streets be graded and graveled from amain st to Sou.
