LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Protem Fred R. Ruff in the ab-
sence of rda.yor Sharp, who had been called out of town. Later in the
evening Mayor Geo. H. Sharp came into the meeting. The following Ald-
ermen responded to Roll Call: C.P.T. Agee, F.R. Boyle, Geo. Holton,
J.J. Roark, and Fred R. Ruff.
The R?ayor Protem stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss
the water line and water connection at Bay Ridge 4rith ltir. H. 0. Clark,
Jr., who represented the interested parties of Bay Ridge asking to make
connection to the City Water Line.

Motion by Ald. Holton,Lsecond by Ald. Ruff, that the City Council
adopt the proposed plan set forth in ~Sr. H. 0. Clark's letter of July
21, 1936 regarding the water line and water connection at Bay Ridge;
said letter to be turr_ed over to P~Rr. Jno. Riibler, City Attorney, with
instructions to draw up a contract along the lir_es of the letter with
minor changes agreed upon by the City Council and Mayor, and that Mr.
I:iibler submit said contract back to the City Cour_cil and Mayor for
final approval.
A record vote was called for which resulted as follov~rs: Ald. Agee, Aye.
Ald. Bo`;rle, Aye. Ald. Holton, Aye. Ald. Roark, Aye. Ald. Ruff, Aye.
Carried.
On motion by Ald. Holton, second by Ald. RoarP<, ~ournment was taken.
