Corporation C urt Report Report of the~Corporation Court for the month ending Oct. 31st was read and ordered placed on file on motion by Aid. Ruff, second by Ald. Boyle. Additional office furniture• L~iotion by Ald. Boyle, second by Ald. Ruff that X25.00 additional be allowed- for office furniture. Carried Firemen's Prizes. - I.Iotion by A1d.Boyle, second by Ald. Agee that the City Secretary be instructed to set aside X50.00 from the General Fund and $50.00 from the Delinquent Tax I~znd to be turned over to the Fire Department for Attendance Prizes. Carried State Health Dept. T~otion by Ald. Boyle, second by Ald. Agee that the letter from the State Health Dept. be placed on file. Carried. Hamilton- Armistice Day. ?'otion by Ald. Agee, second ny Ald. Roark that A.S. Hamilton be paid for Armistice Day and that it be charged against his vacation time. Carried. Tax Title Deeds EZotion by A1d. Boyle, second by Ald. Agee that the City Secretary be instf~ucted to have all-Tax Title deeds of the City recorded. Carried. Tax Exemption 1:'~otion by Ald. Boyle, second by Ald. Ruff that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare necessary claims for exemption of taxes on Lots 1 P.c 2, Block 2~., Bay Front. Carried. Sewer Conn.- Lot 16, BL. 305. L.P. t~iotion by Aldo Boyle, second by Ald. Ruff that the matter of the Sewer Conn- ection foz• P.Vd. Taliaferro on Lot 16, Bloclc 305, La Porte be turned over to the Serer Com. Carried. Roark that the City Secretary be instructed to write to contractors and ovmers who have not taken out Building Permits that same must be taken out immediately. Carried. Bldg. Permits 1°~laived- Ch~xrches ~s Schools Motion by A1d. Ruff, second by Aid. Boyle that City Building Permit fees be craived on-'~the Baptist Church, the Community Ci~urch, the La Porte Nigh School come Ecenomics Bldg. and that hereafter no Bldg. Permit fees shall be charged for consturction of buildings, additions or repairs to buildings constructed by the La Porte School sys- tem and any and all churches. Carried. Extension Water Line, 7th to 10th Sts. P.totion by Ald. Boyle, second by Ald. F.uff that the extending of the 6 inch water line from 7th St. to the CityT Limit line on__lOth St. be .turned over to the ~~7ater Com. to vrork out proceedure and details.
