Meeting was called to order by Mayor Sharp, the following Aldermen responding to roll calls F.R. Boyle, J.J. Roark, Fred R. Ruff. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The following bills were allowed , on motion by Ald. Boyle, second by Ald. Ruffs Huweiler Lbr. Roark that the balance of X139.78 due '~orthington-Gaon Meter Co. be paid from the General Fund• Carried. Motion by Al'c~. Ruff, second by Ald. Roark that the letter from the State Health Dept. regarding the monthly reports on water plant operation be placed on file. Mayor Sharp appointed Ald. Fred R. Ruff, amd Ald. F.R. Boyle together with him- self as a reception committee to meet a delegation from Tomball who had written V the Mayor that they would visit La Porte January 12th,1937 to get information on the City set-up including the operation of the La Porte water System and the system of Tax Collections.
