Meeting was called to order by P.Zayor Sharp, with the following
Aldermen ans:°ering to roll call: P.L. Benson, F.R. Boyle,
J.J. Roark, Fred R. Ruff. Aldernan Agee came into the meeting
a little later.
I,dinutes of the last regular amd speei~l meetings were read and
approved.
Affidavit The Mayor presented an affidavit on the burning of the following
L~onds described City of La Porte bonds:
City of La Porte Refunding BondB No. Five(5), Six(6) and
Seven(7), each in the principal sum of One Thousand Dol-
lars(~1,000.00), dated October 10,193, due April 10,1937.
I~~otion by Ald. Boyle, second by Ald. Ruff that the affidavit on
the burning of the above described bonds be accepted and placed
on file. Carried.
Gills Motion by Ald. Agee, second by Ald. Ruff that the following bills
be allowed and paid by warrant:

The City Secretary presented the Report of the Corporation Court
for the month e$ding May 31,1937•
Motion by Agee, seoond by Roark that the report be accpted and ~,
placed on file. Carried
The City Secretaryv reported that Mr J.P. Chrisman and Pdir S,B,
Stewart fra~m the State High~ray Planning Board Dept. had oalled
at the City office to obtain information on the financial statius
of the City in conneotion with the allocation of funds for lat-
eral roa~ building.
Fsa A]:d:.Benson ~vported the need of a fan in the City Secretary's
offioe. Ald. Boyle moved, second by Ruff, .that the matter of
a fan for the City Secretary's offioe be refeered to the Build-
ing Com. with power to act. Carried. .

Elis-ds Motion by Agee, second by Roark, that the Building Com. be auth-
orized to put awnings or Venetisaa blinds on the east windows of
thb City Secretaryd•s office. Carried..

Eids Motion by Boyle, second by Benson,, that the lRJater Com. be auth-
Paiat orized to get bids on painting and repairing the Water Tank and
Water Tower. Carried.
