CITY COUNCIL OF LA PCRTE, TEXAS.

Mee+,ir~g was called to order by Mayor Geo. H. Sharp with the following
Aldermen responding to roll call: P.L. Benson, F.R.. Boyle, J.J. Roark,
Fred R. Ruff.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as corrected.
Correspond- The A~.ayor Aresexited a letter and credentials $rom Homer G. Olmsted,
epee consulting engineer, which were ordered placed on file.
Th City Secretary read a letter from the Midstate Steeple Jack Co.
asking for more information as to the capacity of the City water
Tank. Secretary was instructed to forward the information.
A letter from the Texas Belting and Supply Co. giving informatien
as to the increased line of supplies parried was ordered ~laeed on
file.
Bids Bids on wiring of the new garage and tool house Were ordered opened
wiring and the following results were tabulated:
Pfeiffer Elec. Co. Bid on specifications: X103.50, alternate bid
using flexible metallic conduit and deducting inspection fee X80.00.
~:~.0. Corenson: ~78.60p~Ri.ring in garage BX cable,Circuit in 2" con-
duit,from building to garage overhead No.12 wire.
Puotion by Ruff,second by Roark , that the bids for the wiring of the
garage and tool house be turned over to the Special Building Com-
mittee to be checked with the specifications and awarded to the low-
est bidder. Carried.
Bills Motion by Boyle,second by Ruff, that bills according to th® schedule
belo4r, in the amount of ~~417.92 be allowed. Carried

Daily Sun Motion by Ruff, second by Benson, that the balance due the Daily Sun
balance on bill for printing Traffic Ordinance, in the amount of X26.43 be
paid. Carried.
Worthington Motion by Boyle, second by Ruff, that one half of the balance of ~13?.50
Gammon bal due the Worthington- Gammon Meter Co• to pa$d. Carried.
Worthington Motion by Ruff, second by Boyle, that the nevP bill of-the Worthington-
Gammon,neW Gammon ffieter Co. it the amount of X206.25 for meters just delivered, be
bill allowed and journalized, to be paid in installments. Carried.
Moving A?otion by Boyle, second by Benson, that the City Secretary be instruct-
Per~zits ed to write all contractors in the City whp engage in the moving of
buildings, that there is a City Ordinance requiring a Moving Permit to
be taken out on all buildings to be moved within the City Limits.
Also requesting that they come in to the City Hall and take out permits
for any buildings that have already been moved without a permit.
Carried.
There being no further business to cone before the Council, upon motion
by Ruff, second by Roark, it was unanimously carried that the Council
adjourn.
