The City Secretary reported that the bill of Uunlay 1!rmana a.nd the con-
~;ract with F.T. Baldwin had been paid.
Pfeiffer ~~.fter a report by the ~Jclice Crn?~nittee on the bill of Pfeil'Per Electric
Elec. bill Co. in the amount of ~y13.8b, Ald. Agee offered a motion which was seconded
by Puff, that the bill of Pfeiffer Electric Co. in the amounf, of X13.86 be
paid. Carried.
Installments*rotion by Benson, sa^,^~~d by Agee, that Petty Cash be TMonewecl in•t~e amount
of 'x11.12, that the 21ov. lst installment of ?~T.A. Johnson ec.~ntract for `10.00

Sidewalk Ald. Boyle presented a latter from Geo. Counts, Secretary oP the La Porte
at school Io.dependent School District referring to a request rna.de by the School Board
some months ago, that the City cooperate in building a sidevralit on Broadway
between C ~; D streets, to servo the school ch~.ldren. Boyle then offered a
motion which was seconded by Agee that the City Secretary be instructed to
vrrite a letter -to the Secretary of the School Board to the effect that this
latter was referred to the proper Cor.-mittee for handling and. that as soon
as the City was able to handle this project the worn would be done.
