Roark, Fred R. Ruff. ~:inutes of the last meeting ware read and approved. Motion by Ruff, second by Roark, that the City Secretary be instruoted to transfer the balanoe of ~9?.36 from the Delinquent Tax Fund to the General Fund and that in the future all monies which have gone to the Delinquent Tax Fund be deposited in the General Fund. Carried. Corp.Court motion by Boyle, seoond by Ruff, that the report of the Corporation Report Court presented by the Mayor for the months of September and October be accepted and placed on file and that the fees of the City Marshall in the amount of ~11~.00 and the fees of the Mayor in the amount of X7.00 be ordered paid. Carried. Letters from the R.B. Everett Co. on equipment for 1~fPA and PVYA projeots and from Hughes Motor Co. on change of management xere read and' ordered placed on file. Payment on The City Secretary reported that X100.00 on the principal and interest Browning- in the amount of X20.20, to November 2,1938 had been paid on Bro~wning- Ferris note Ferris note of X250.00 dated June 28,1937 and due January 1,1939, as per Council action of October 2,1938• Service The City Secretary presented a service agreement by the Burroughs Ad- Burroughs ding Machine Co. covering a period of one year for the stun of X8.00 per year in advance. Potion by Ruff, second by Boyle, that the Mayor be authorized to execute the above mentioned service contract and that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized to issue a warrant in the amount of X8.00 to Dover the cost of acme. Carried. Com. APotion by Roark, second by Boyle, that City Marshall R.H. Baker be Liquor Lsc. allowed the sum of X3.50, covering notifioations on seven liquor licenses at fifty cents each, as per list in City Secretary's office. Carri ed. Bond Motion by Ruff, second by Boyle, that a -Bond of $15.00 be required R?oving Bldgs for permit to.move buildings in or into La Porte City limits. Carried. Bldg. ~dotion by Ruff, second by Roark, that the City Attorney be instruoted restrictions to make inquiries as to soma sort of zoning ordinance for building restrictions in La Porte, to be reported on at the next Counoil meeting. Carried. Sewer Motion by Ruff, second by Roark, that the Chairman of the Seger Committee Equipment be authorized to order the neoessary Sewer cleaning equipment. Carried. Fire Motion by Boyle, second by F,uff, that the City purchase one D-330 Pump Champion Rotary Fire Prng~~ae Pump on 30 days free trial. Carried.
