POSTPONED MEETING OF AUGUST 12, 1940.
Meeting was called to order by ~iiayor Sharp with the following alder
men present; P. L. Benson, J. N. Johnson, J. J. Roark, Fred R. Ruff.
Ie.Tinutes of the last regular.meetin July 22, 1940 were read and approved.
Motion by Roark, second by benson that the following schedule of bills
in the amount of 339.02 be ordered paid. _

Motion by Benson that the contract for venetian blinds be iet to the
lowest bidder. Motion died for lack of a second.
Rent,Fire Chief 1~otion by Benson, Second by Johnson that room rent of $20.00 per month
be paid for Fire Chief, C. J. `.lilsons, Tamily beginning August 3, 1940
until living quarters are built for him.
