Meeting was called to order by Ttlayor Pro-tem Ruff in the absence of
P1layor Sharp. The following Aldermen were present: C.E,`. Agee, P.L. Benson,
J.D?. Johnson, J.J. Roark,-gyred R. Ftuff, also City Attorney Jno. S. Kiibler

Minutes of the last regular meeting of September 23rd and Special meeting
of October 8th were read and approved.

Pro- I~:otioh by Roark, second by Johnson, that the L.'~^1'. Gruendler connection
rate fee on the Bay Ridge Line, in the amount of X500.00 be pro-rated equally
to L.L. Crain,AllenI,.Hannay,I7.C. Kuldell & Pars Sam Streetman as per the
City's contract frith these original owners. Carried
:~~ayor Yro-tem Ruff asked that the members of the Cpuncil meet on Thursday
night,Oct. 10th to discuss Electrical Inspection and Sewer ~'xtension Amend-
ment Ordinances.

A letter from 1?. J. Illig on the shelling of a street adjacent to
his property was ordered placed on file.
Dlectrical P'::otion by Agee, second by Johnson, that the City secretary be in-
I3ids strutted to ask the local ~'lectrical contractors to submit bids on
the wiring of the new Fire Dept. Bldg. designed for the Fire Chief`s
living quarters specifications to be obtained from Fred L. Ruff.
Carried.
I'lb~;. Fix. ?tiotion by ~~enson, second by Agee, that Fred R. F~uff be authorized to
purchase the best plumbing fixtures to had for the most reasonable
price, to be installed in the Fire Chief's quarters.
Carried.
La P. ::leaners ~doton. by Benson, second by Roark, that Ald. Agee be authorized to
investigate the condition caused by the discharge of steam from the
equipment of the La Porte Cleaners on to the sidewalk.
Carried.
O.~arrison Ald. Roark presented the matter of delinquent taxes on the Bayshore
taxes property owned by Otis ~larrison. 1;lotion by Agee, second by Johnson
that this matter be turned over to the Tax Committee for action.
Carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council, on
motion by xgee, second by Johnson and carried by those present
meeting adjourned.
