Meeting was called to order by Mayor Sharp with the following Alder- men and City officials present: Aldermen, P.L. Benson,J.ti. Johnson,).). Roark, Fred R. Ruff, City Attorney Jm . S. Kiibler, City Secretary Idrs M.0•Lambly, Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. 4d-G l~~eter The City Secretary reported that payment of X71.17 had been made to ~- L.P. Hdw the Worthington Gamon Meter Co. and pipe account of ~1U1.90 to La Porte Hardware Co. had been paid. Transfer ~~totien by Ruff, second by Roark, That the sum of X500.00 be transfer- red from the Special ~'+ater Improvements Fund to the Special Fire Dept. Bldg. Fund, to be returned as soon as possible after January 1,191~1~ out of the General Fund. Agee ca.;ie in to the meeting at this point. •ots 20 & 21 Notion by Agee, second by Ruff, that the Mayor appoint the Finance E1k.39,.L.P. Committee to investigate the proposed sale of Lots 20 & 21 and Im- provements, being the property immediately adjacent to tlae City Hall property, and that report be made at the next City Council meeting. Carried. n'jagneto Fire Chief C.J. Vtiilson reported that the magneto of the Ladder Truck should be repaired or replaced, repair price quoted at ~3l~..00 and replacement price at ~36.~$. Motian by Ruff, second"by Johnson that the City buy a new Bosch magneto for the Ladder Truck for the sum of ~36.?5. Carried. ~'~T'1;- Report Mayor Sharp presented a report from the YV~A Recreational Project which the City is sponsoring. This was ordered placed on file. V~ater Dist. The May or also presented a notice of a meeting called in fiighlands Texas for the purpose of completing a permanent organization on County Wide YVater Control District. This was ordered filed. Ald. The City Secretary was instructed to notify all local electrical firms mtg that they were invited to attend a meeting called for Tuesday night Idov. 19th, for the purpose of discussing ~ a proposed Electrical Ordinance for the City.
