P„inutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Traffic Ttitr k. B. Randolph appeared before the Council in the interest o£
the traffic situation in La Porte. After a full discussion xld.
Ruff offered a motion, seconded by Benson, that the traffic situ-
ation be turned over to to the Police Committee to work out what-
ever plan is necessary to cope with conditions and enforce the
traffic regulations and to put it into effect immediately.
Carried.
Bills Motion by Agee, second by Johnson that the following schedule

The T1~,ayor presented a letter from ii. L. +~ashburn,~.'emporary Chairman
of the Temporary fiarris County water Supply Committee,advising of a
meeting to be held at the Courthouse Feb. 11,191.1 at 7:30 P.R~.
i~ot~ion by Ruff, second by Johnson, that the letter be placed on file.
The City Secretary reported that transfers of "~5U0.00 each had been made
from the General Fund to the dater Impts. Fd on January 27th and on Feb.
1@th. so that all funds borrowed from the Muter Impts. Fd. had been re-
turned. Secret~.ry also reported that l~j of the `t~orthington Gamon Co.
bill in the amount of X71.17 had been paid.
?.gotion by Johnson, aeaond by Agee, that the City of La Porte purchase
the property adjacent ~ t~e C~t Ha.~~ property,described as Lots 20 &
21,31ock 39, La Porte, romp~.!~~a'rrison, for the sum of X1,800.40,.
with all taxes paid and a guaranteed title furnished.
Carried.
~?otion by Ruff, second by Agee, that the matter of financing the pur-
chase of Lots 20 ~ 21, Block 39, La Porte and Improvements, be turned
over to the Finance Committee, with power to act.
Carried.
Business being completed, on motion by Ruff, second by Johnson and
carried, the meeting adjourned.
