Nesting was called to order by Mayor Ruff with the following
Aldermen and City officis.Is present: Ald• J. N. Johnson, C. F.
r?orris, C. ~. Agee, Jack Kerber, J. J. Roark, City Attorney
Kiibler and Assistant Secretary Christensen.
Motion by Johnson, :stand by Norris, that ~ifayor Fred R. Ruff re-
tain the general supervision of the La Porte'V9'ater System for the
coming year.
Carried.

Official Motion by Roark, second by Johnson, that the Daily Sun be appointed
Newspaper as the Official Newspaper and that the City enter into a contract
with them for the ensuing year.
Carried.
Appoint- potion by Johnson, second by Norris, and carried by those present
meats that the other appointments be confirmed as outlined by the Mayor
as follows:

oyster shell and 10 yards of asphalt treated shell.

Motion by Johnson, second by Berber; that the City order 100 Mater
Meters.
Carried.
Typewriter Motion by Johnson, second by Norris, that the City have the two Royal
Repair typewriters in the City office repaired by Clifford Rousey as per his
price quotation of X30.00 in a letter dated April 9, 19l.~.
Carried.
Stationery Motion by Roark, second by Johnson, that the City order stationery
with the approprie.te names of the 9ity officials in the heading.
Carried.
