Aldermen and City Officin.ls present: Ald. M. D. Burgin, J. N.
Johnson, T. F. 3~}ith, City Atty. Kiibler, City Secy. Christensen.
Minutes of the last regular meeting of November 29, 191.3 a.nd
Special meeting of December 6, 19.3 vrere read and approved.
Bills ~4otion by Johnson, second by Smith, that the following schedule of
bills in the amount of ;;1.x26.10 be alletved and ordered paid.

Letter The Secretary presented a letter from C. H. Kelly on the progress
Kelly that has been made on the 'dater. situation for the City in the
last two years.

file.

Letter The Secretary presented a letter from H. B. Harrison in regard to
Harrison the drainage in the block where his home is located. This letter
eras ordered placed on file.
Drainage Motior_ by Burgin, ~~cond by Smith, that t}ie matter of investivating
the drainage ~'®r t$e City be turned over to the St. & ~11ey Comm-
ittee for advisement.

Secretary Tdotion by Johnson, second by Smith, that the Cit~- Secretary be
Vacation allowed to continuo work instead of taking 10 day vacation and
that she be paid double time for this work,

Letter The Secretary presented a letter from H. 'N. Everitt in regard.
Everett to the Valuation and Improvements on Lots 17 to 32, Block 130,
La Porte.
Motion by Johnson, second by Smith, that the valuation of this
property be left as fixed by the City Equalization 3oard and
that $~Ihe City Secretary be instructed to write 1vTr. Everett to
this ei'fect, also to advise him that there are improvements on
this property.
Carried.
Sewer rQotion by Johnson, second by Burgin, that the matter of tying of
Block 197 sewer in Block 197, La. Porte, be turned over to the Sewer Committee.
Carried.
Corporation The I~'tayor presented the Corporation Court Report for the bTorth of
Court Report ?Jovember, 1943.
T:~lotion by Johnson, second by Smith, that the Corporation Court Re-
port as presented by~ the T~,ayor be accepted and Tvlayors Fees paid.
Carried.
Gasoline 1~4otion by Johnson, second by Srnith, that the Secretary be authorized
Chief of Police to deduct the. gasoline which was purchased by the Chief of Police
for October and November and charged to the City from his gasoline
expense for December, 1943.
Carried.
Motion by Smith, second by Johnson, that the meeting adjourn.
