Carried. 231 • Time Deposit Zdotion by Burgin, seaond by Johnson, that the City renew the Time Deposit of the Interest and Sinking Refunding Bond Fund, in the amount of $5,000.00, which matured March 26, 191. Carried. Sewer Refunding Mstion by Johnson, seaond by Norris, that the City Secretary Bonds be authorized to hl-va the City oP La Porte Sewer Refunding Bonds, issue of February 1, 19l.~, Nos, 1 to 12 and all interest coupons, properly set up on Budgatex Bond Register Sheets, by Steak Co., Austin, Texas, as per their quotation of $8.00. Carried. Cash Bonds Motion by Johnson, seaond by Norris, that an Ordinance be drawn up Billowing the ~'orporation Court to take Cash B®nds. Carried. L ading of The Mayor turned the matter of drawing up an Ordinance on the Mucks in storage of butane gas in tank er truck, also the loading and allays unloading of trucks in alleys, over to the Council and City .Attorney. Carried. Letter The Secretary read a letter from Municipal Supply Co,, dated MunAedpal May 2, 19L~1.~,, in regard to Mueller Rater Wirks materials and Supply Co. supplies. Motion by Johnson, seaond by &trgin, that this letter be planed on Pile. Carried. Guarantee Motion by Burgin, second by Johnsen, that the l0 yr. Guarantee 81tom Lone Star Roofing Co. on 8ailt Up ~,sphalt~ and Gravel Roof on City Building on Lets 20 and 2~, Block 39, La Porte be planed on file . ; ~ R Carried. Bldg. Repair The ~,y®r appointed the Building Committee to make an investigation on the repairing and approximate cost ofrepairs on City Hall Bldg. Shell Motion by Norri$, seaond by Johnson, that the.City order an®ther 1,000 yards of-shell from L. Jones. Carried. Chairs & Desk Motion by Norris, seaond by Johnson, that Ald. Burgin make further investigation on chairs for City Hall and Mayor's desk for City 8ffiae and report at next 8ounail meeting. Carried. Foldi#?~g The Mayor appointed Ald. Johnson to make an investigati~an~on the chairs City's Molding Qhairs at the Masonic Temple. Raise Motion by Burgin, seaond by Johnson, that the salary of the Fire Chief be raised from X115.00 per month to X135.00 per month retroactive to May 1, 19l~. Carried. Tx~ining ~ Motion by Burgin, seaonotl ~ Norris, that the matter of sending a ` School delegate to the Firemensf Training School at ~ and M College, from Firemens' B~ayr 29 to June 2, 19l..~. inalus~ve be tabled until next Council meeting.
