Hedrick Ex~ixeerin~ Firm met with the Couxcil to discuss the aced and size of a hospital for the City axd other buildix~~-i.mprovenaents for which to file applieatioxs with Federal Govt. Motion by Johnson, secoxd by Duxha;, that the City request the Rocket Motor Coaches to charge their route to include Sylvan Beach Road Prom Bus Statiox to Park Gate. Carried. Aldermax Johxsox brought up the matter of shellixg of street for L~ U~ Casteel axd stated that he was of the o~i.~iox that ixterseetions axd alleys should rot be ixoluded ix cost to property owxers. Motiox by Duxhun,that.the City make some arraxge~aexts to take care of these particular oases in the future, axd after some discussion Aldsrmax Durham withdrew his motion and the Mayor appointed the. Street axd Alley Committee to make axd investigatiox of ordixaxce axd mixuter as to whether or rot strut intersectioxs axd alleys expense is borx by the City axd to report on this at a S,:ecial meeting to be held oxi October 1, 191.x` at 7:00 P. ~q. The Street axd Alley Committee was appointed by the Mayor to coxtact the CommissionerTS Court or Geo. Cockburn to inquire if a bull dozer or drag lire would be availabi• to the City of La forte for movixg garbage which has been placed along roadside of North Broadway.
