Special meeting of the City Cammiiseion was palled to order by Mayor H• J.
Pfeiffer, with the following ambers and pity officials present: Ccssaiss-
ioners Jas• 5. Crate, Jr. and James E. Stewart, Supt. of Rzblic Wanks Ral-
e ig~i Erin, City Attornay Jno. S . gi ibler, and City Clerk J. E. Muldoon.
The Ca®mi.ssian instructed the City Clerk to oaapile a list of the names of
property owners. along I~aisi Street, frame. Fourth Street to 1Rest 10th Avea~ue,
and fraan Five Points to "E" Street South, for the purpose od' eamtaating
these owners 3xi. aamneation with curb and gutter, also stoma sewers being
aaaltemplated in the near future.
The C aammaf.a s ion instruoted the City Clerk not to issue any building per-
mits in the fire score without permission from them.,
The City Clerk was authorised to issue a purchase order for three gallons
of l~emtone for painting walls in, the fire station.
The City Cam~niasioa instructed the City Clerk to write a lertter to Mr•
Dtmaan l~eblett, attorney at law, with Dopy to Mr• F. E. Westergren., ad-
via3s~ig him that they had considered his request but had decided that such
ocrostructioa~ could not bs permitted, because it violates the ~tif-y Ordin-
ance.
Motion by Stewart, seaand by Crate, authorising the City Clerk to issue
a check far #50.00 to Calvia Caeapton, far moving dirt from the sidewalk
an Parkview Avenue.
Carried.
Matiar~. by Crate, seaamd by Stewart, to change the time of their regular
meeting f'ram~. the first Mamday of each month at 8:00 P. M. to the first
Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A. M.
Carried.
The Cas-mission instructed the City Clerk to write a letter to l+ir. L. B.
Barlaer, requesting him to mrnre the building he has constructed in the
alley of Bleak 1.~6, La Porte, acme mat being in aaaordanoe with building
regulations in the Fire ease.
