Special meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor Pfeiffer
wroth the following members and City officials present: Comnissianers Jas. S.
Crate, Jr. and James E. Stewart, City Attorney Jno. S. Kiibler, and City Clerk
J.- E. I~Iuldoon.
Motion by Stewart, second by Crate, that the following Resolution be adopted:
RES CLZIT I ON
WHEREAS, an erroneous survey has heretofore been made of San Jacin-
to Homes Addition to the Town of La Porte, Texas, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with such survey, the Mc rlillan Construc-
tion Company, owner of certain lots in said subdivision, has constructed
a number of dvaellings, and
VdHEREAS, the City of La Porte, in accordance tivith such survey,
has installed certain utility lines, and
's"J~3EREA,S, said subdivision has been re-surveyed by the County
Surveyor of Harris County, Texas, A. C. Stimson, on ~~rch 31, 19l~3, v~hich
survey the City of La Porte and the Mc Millan Construction Company agree
is correct, and
V,lIli1REAS, it is to the mutual benefit of the City of La Porte
and the Mc P,-4illan Construction Compa~r to exchange deeds to establish
streets and alley lines and building lines to conform to those which have
heretofore been actually established on the ground in said Addition,
NOVd, TNF'REFC#2E, BE IT RESCLVF'D by the Board of Commissioners of
the City of La Porte, Texas, that the City of La Porte convoy parts of
certain streets in said San Jacinto Homes Addition to the Town of La Porte
to the Mc 1!!illan Construction Company, a Texas corporation and that the

b°~,,yor and Clerk of the City of La Porte be, and they are hereby, instruot-
ed to execute and deliver said deed to the said Mc Mill an Construction
C oanpany, and it is s o ordered,
be adopted as read.
Carried.
There being no further business to Dome before the meeting, it was ad-
journed upon motion by Stewart, seoond by Crate.
Carried.
