Special meet ing of the City Co~nission was called to order by Mayor
Pfeiffer, with the f ollowix~ members and City officials pres elst : C om-
missioners Jas. S. Crate, Jr. and James E. Stewart, Supt. of Public
"r`orks Ral®igh Erwin, City Attorney Jno. S. Kiibler and City Clerk
J. E. Muldoon.
The r1tayor asked that the returns of the City Election held on April
6, 19t~$, be canvassed. The eloctio3~ returns were canvassed as follows:

P+4otion by Stewart, second by Crate, that H. J. rfeiffer, receiving the
majority of votes for Mayor, be declared elected to serve for two years
in this position.
Carried.
Motion by Stewart, second by Crate, that Jas. S. Crag, Jr. and James E.
Stewart, receiving the majority of votes for Cor~issioners, be elected
to serve for tti~,ro years as Corrnnissioners.
Carried.
The X3000.00 bond of H. J. tfeiffer as Mayor, executed by a corporate
surety, was read and approved upon motion by Crate and second by Stew-
art .
Carried .
The X3000.00 bonds (each) of Jas. S. Crate, Jr. and James. E. Stewart,
executed by a corporate surety, were read and approved upon motion by
Crate and second by Stevra.rt.
Carried.

P:Zotion by Crate, second by Stewart, that the first blocks North and South
of East and YVest Main Street begin with Number 100, even numbers on right
and odd mxinbers on the left, and that all Blocks East and Vilest of North
a,nd South Broadway begin with Ntunber 100, even numbers on the right and
odd numbers on the left, and to authorize the Chamber of Commerce to start
numbering houses in accordance with their program.
Carried.
The City. Clerk was instructed to call the Tri-City Directory Service
and Dell to their attention the change made in the numbering of houses.
