D. 191,8 and Pros year to year until the 30th dap of June A. D. 20.7, and YIHE~SAS, the Air Hatioaoal tlaard intends t o sae said tract of laad for a $adar Air Yarning Center and is canneotian therewith will construct a building on said preaises, end i~&~AS, said structure will bs loeated-less thaw seven hundred (700) feet fran the Sast•Yest runway of said Auxiliary Landing Ficld ~ of Ellington Field, and AREAS, the alosimg of the East-Rest nxaway of said airfield will not siater- ially effect the operation of said airfield as the City of La Porte l~unioipal dirport, 1~01P, THFREFORL~, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Camiissioners of the Oity o£ I.a Porte, Texas, that the East Wiest ranwsy of the Auxiliary Landing Field ~ of Ellington Field, now Imown as the City of Im Porte Euaioipsl Airport, be closed and not used and the same is hereby slowed; that said East-best runway shall regain closed and not used daring the tine the said Eight and 1~lOth (8.1) sore tract is used sad occupied by the Air Natural Guard. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to deliver sertified eopiss of this resolutiost to the United States of America, the Air National Gerard, the IIS Armor Engitseere and awy and all other agencies of the United States Go~ernwent re- questing the same sad IT IS SO ORDBRED.
