Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor H. J.
Pfeiffer, zv-ith the following members and .city officials present: Commissioners
Jas. S. Crate, Jr., and v'~n. P. Jones, City Attorney Carl C. Patrick, Supt. of
Public forks ~'Laleigh L~'rwin, and City Clerk J. ~. Puldoon.
TYlinutes of the last meeting vrere read and approved.
The I~Tayor instructed the City Clerk to open bids for one 2=P on `T'ruck, Chassis
and Cab. The bids were tabulated as follows

Kerber T.Zotor Company 1,830.00
Both Bid the same on Body 782.00
h7otion by Crate, second by Janes, to award bid to Mc Millen Chevrolet Company
on their low bid of w~1,795.~9, and for 1 Dump T~?odel 7--159 Body, for w782.00.
Carried.
The Tvlayor instructed the City Clerk to open bids which were ordered published
October 13, 1949, for an addition to the City Hall. `l'he bids were tabulated as
follows:

Motion by Crate, second by Jones, to raise C. S. Durham's salary ?10.00 per
month, effective immediately.

required at b2a,in and 10th Street at the Shall Service Station corner, and that
the Shell Company furnish everything else.
