Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor H. J. ~'feiffer, with the following members and city officials prosent: Commissioners Jas. S. Crate, Jr., and 1~m. ~'. Jones, Mr. 'Townsend, representing Carl C. Patrieak, City Attorney, Raleigh Ernrin, Supt. of Public ~®rks, and J. E. Muldoon, City Clerk. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. `Phe City Clerk was instructed to take applications for a Dog Catcher, to take the place of VY. L. Rawlings, who resigned. Pde7tion by Crate, second by Jones, authorizing the City Clerk to issue a check for ~3.591~•©0 to Moore & rioore, Contractors, for annex to Fire Station, less ?79.00 ®wed by Moore ~ M®vre for shell. Carried. Meat ion by Crate, duly seeanded by Jones, authorizing Ernest L. Brawn, Jr., to have all necessary orders and oertifieates propared in connection vrith sale of additional $50,000.00 worth of Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Eonds, in accordance with his contract dated Marsh 29th, 19Lt9• Carried. Motion by Jones, duly seconded by Crate, instructing the City Clerk to publish a Notice of Intention of the City of La Porte, texas, to take bids on January 19th, 1950, for the sale of X50,000.00 worth of Waterworks and Sewer System xevenue Bonds.
