T;~inutes of the last meeting vrere read and appr®ved. motion by Commissioner Jones, seconded by C©r~unissioner Crate, authorizing the re-payment of X200.00 to the 't'reasurer of the United States, same having been advanced to the City under application Tex ~.1-P-27l~. for the planning of an in- cinerator f©r which the City does not now propose to complete the planning, or to construct. Carried. `t'he City Clerk read a letter from r3r. Frank Baldwin, in vrhich he claimed Deer Creek into vrhich much of the rain tivater of tree City drained into. 't'he letter ~;+ras handed to the City Attorney far anstivering. P.~Iotion by Commissioner Crate, secr~nded by Co~~-nissioner Jones, that the City of La Porte authorize the Houston Lighting and ~'ovrer Company to install over- head street lamps at the following locations: 1st Street and B lst Street and C 2nd Street and B 1th street and A 8th Street and B South Utah and D south Utah and E as per agreement vri.th the FIouston Lighting & Power Company, ie, they vrill in- stall and maintain same for ;30.00 per year for each lamp.
