Maness, representing 1Wyatt C. Hedrielr, City En- gineer, and d+ E. Mold©on, City Clerk. Minutes of tlue last meetixig were read and.. apprsv®d. The Commissi~ authorised the City ~tgineer to issue a change carder for Inl®ts only on BreaQ~r, for "A" Street to San Jaointa Avenue. The Coamissien unanimously authorised the l~.yer and City Clerk to sign munici- pal ®enstruatiwo. agreements with the State Highway Cemmissian on State Highway 225 to nth Street, and State Highway 1l~6 to S®uth E Street, and ordered the clerk to file agreements in oantract file. Carried. The Mayor introduced an erdinance, which wan read in full. Cemmissiener Jones made a e<mtiea: that the erdinance be s~depted a's read. The motias ways seeonded by Csmmissiaaer Crate and carried by the` fellew-1.ag` veto: AYES, Mayer Pfeiffer, Cercar-issiAner Jones, Oemmissiener Crate. NOES: None. Motion by Crate, second by James, de~sig~ating tha First National Bank of La- Porte, Texas, as the City's Depository, and authorisi~sg the Mayor and City Clerk to sign aoutraat with the bank, containing the same terms ae existing c®ntraat. Carried. Mr. Geo. Mo Millan requested to place a gasoline tank under the Sidewalk on 1~th Street, and request was unanimously denied. Carried. Meti©an by Janes, second by Crate, to pay Myatt C. Hedrick ~i~,2a9~5, out of the. Street Improvement Feed, and ~t529.95, out of the Revenue. Bond' Fund, in accordance with his statements. Carried. Upon motion by Crate, seconded by Jones, this. mooting was racossed at 1:()Q P. M., until l~st')O A. M., March 31, 1950. Carried. March 31, 1950 lO:aa A. M. The Mayor called tc- order the meeting which was recessed at 1 :f30 P. lt., l[arah 3®, lg5t~, with the following members ar8 city officials presort: Commisaieners Jas. S. Crate, Jr., and 1~n. P. Jones, and J. E. Muldoon, City Clerk.
