Pfeiffer, vrith the following members and city officials- present: Commissioners Jas. S.Crste, Jr., and ~tim. P. Jones, R~.leigh I~,~rin, Supt. of Public ''+~orks, Carl C. Patrick, City Attorney, and J. E. PF~~ldoon, City Clerk. h~inutes of the last meeting ti+;ere read and approved. A dis cussion c^ias held on ways, means and the cost of paving, curb, gutter sand storm sewer along East Ida,in, from I''ivc Points to South Kansas. 1'he Commission instructed the City Clerk to notify the property owners along this section of East Main to attend a meeting vrith the Commission on June 15, 1950, for further discussion. 'Phe Cor;anission instructed the City Clerk to notify Judge 8iehard Osborne to hold Corporation Court each Saturday morning at the City Hall. P~totian by Jones, second by Crate, to appoint Dymond '+~. Crawley as Dogcatcher, and to furnish bond in the amount of X1,000.00. Carried . The Commission instructed the City Clerk to :write Holland Page, road contr~:ctor, witYi copies to Howe and ti"Jise, County Engineers, and Jack Townsend, County Commission- er, corapiaining of length of time they are taking to .complete road construction on Grandview, Park Avenue anal Garfield Boulevard, and request them t o make an off ort to complete said construction. i'+Yotion by Crate, second by Jones, that the it-~.yor be authorized to sign instruments in Cause Ido. 59208-A, soled A.
