Regular meeting of the City Cor~nission was called to order by I~.iayor H. J. Pfeif!'er, with the following members and city officials present: Commissioners Jas. S.Crate, Jr., and ti'~tm. P. Jones, Raleigh Erwin, Supt. of Public ""+~orks, Carl C. Patrick, City Attorney, and J. E. ~.Iuldoon, City Clerk. I;~iinutes of the last meeting were read and approved. I~rs. C. L. Trainer ~;ppeared before the Commission and requested the Ci+y to make every effort to have a sevrer line constructed to her property in Block 6, Lra Porte. The Commission instructed the City Clerk to write the property owners in Block 19 and 6, and request them to share the cost in such construction. A group of citizens, composed of Geo. Sharp, Sr., Sam fiuvrieler, Guy Robertson, ~il- ton Beck, Chas. Ashton, Rr. Prindle, Llrs. A. C. G"k`orkman and I~rs. Pdorma. Sandel, appeared before the Commission in answer to their letter to discuss curb, gutter, ps.ving and storm sewer along East Iti-la.in Street to "outh Kansas. The Commission presented an engineer's estimate for concrete 6" reinforced, width 6!~t with curb and gutter at ~19.8I} a running foot, or black tap at X13.16 a running foot. The City would furnish the engineering and storm sewer where needed. these people stated they would think it over before making any comrlittments. Motion by Crate, second by Jones, authorizing ~"falter Roberson to order 5000 parking tickets from the La Porte Liberal, for approximately X65.00. Carried. The Commission instructed the City Clerk to procure a certified copy of deed to the cityt s property in Block ZOO, La 'orte. notion by Crate, second by Jones, that the meeting adjourn, Carried .
