:.'lotion by Jones, seoond by Crate, to employ C. S. Dunham to police the parking
meters for an additional compensation of :15.00 per month, and :cork the meters under
the supervision of V~Srlter Tri. Roberson, Chief of Police: trial period of j0 days. F~._

LZation by Jones, second by Crate, authorizing the City Clerk to issue a fireworks
• permit to the Atlantic-Gulf and Pacific Dredging Company for July lath at the Comm-
unity building grounds.

1Vlayor Pro-Tear Crate;instructed the City Clerk to open and road aloud the bids on
the metal building vrhich were advertised for June 29, 1950. The following bids were

The Commission instructed Raleigh Erwin, Public ~~Jorks Supt., to analize the bids
and report to them at their next regular meeting.
I~,iotion by Jones, second by Crate, authorizing Raleigh Ervrin to contract for 500
water meters at X17.72 each, 250 to bo contracted from Gabor Company, gnd 250 from
LIunicipal Supply Company.

~:otion by Jones, second by Crate, to appoint Raleigh Ervrin building and plumbing
inspector, as of July 1, 1950.

at one-half of the electrical permit fees.

rdotion by Jones, second by Crate, authorizing the City Clerk to issue a check to
Raymond Crawley in the amount of $80.00 for services performed as vacation relief
for Charlie ~3unham, vile on vacation.
