Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Ma~ror Pro-Tan

Remington Printing Calculator 98101-5 Machine, described 98-86la.-2?, paymAnt
to be made from the Revenue Bond F1xnd.

motion by Burgin, second by Jones, to postpone the purchase of Motor. Grader
to a later date.
Carried.
The Com~.isLion instructed Raleigh Erin to contact the South Texas Equipment
Co., Inc., far the purpose of making 2si inspection of the city s heavy-duty
Galion A2otor Grader, and get price for putti~iU it in first class shape.
A discussion was held on the Pater dell. Mayor Pfeiffer was authorized to
consult ~,+vith Ivy. Darrsor, and ~Tr. Pomeroy, ifidel~. Contrac'cors.

to talk further with RZr. A. B, Moar•e on this plan.

ready for filing, but needed the Mayoras signature.
Nation by Burgin, second by Jones, authoring the Mayor to sign the papers
in these suits.

The Co*~.ssio:~ir_structed tree City Clerk to arrange a meeting with the ,Shannon
Estate anti Ws. Ed Cone in cormectior_ with street paving "skips" in from of
their properties on ~.~in Street.

The Mayor i.~strueted the City Clerk to open the bids on the X50, 000.00 City
of La Porte, Texas, ~'daternrorks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, which wire ad-
vertised to be opened M~rl~?th, 1951.
T'ne Commission unanimously instructed the City Clerk to have bids tabulated
and ready fcr letting at their next regular meeting, :day 17, 1951.

Mr, A. B, Poore, Engineer, submitted a rough draft of plan (Jones), which
he had been instructed to draw,
The Coannissiom instructed ~.r, Moore to put plan in proper form. and submit
to the State Authorities for t heir approval..
Upon motion by Burgin, second by Pfeiffer, the meeting adjourned..
