Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem Wm, P. Jones, in the absence of I~~~ayor H. J. Pfeiffc~, with the folloRring manbers and city officia~.s present: Commissioner Iot. D, Burgin, 'W. A, Arthur, Public storks Superint ender., and City Glerk J. E. Muldoon. r~'h.nutes of the last meetings were read and approved. Mr. Roger Mohlman, County Health ~.gineer, and 1:7r. J. W. Wilson, with the State Health Depar~merrt, appeared before the Commission and tentatively approved the plans for the construction of additigns to the disposal plant. Mr. W. A. Arthur's off icial bond, in the amAUnt of ~1, 000.00, was unanimously approved by the Commission. Carried. Chas. Dunham, Dog Catcher, was instructed to check a71 impounded dogs ~ri.tYi W. A. Arthur, who in turn would give him a credit slip for each dog. The City Clerk was instructed to pay Dunham once each month on these credit slips. The City Clerk presented Hal G. Pilkinton~ s application for a t ate.-cab business in the•City of La Porte. This business had recently been purchased from M. A. Berg by Hal G. Pilkinton. Lotion by Burgin, second by Jones, to aippivve H~1 G, Pilkinton~ s application to conduct a tam.-cab business in the City of La Porte, and instructed the City Clerk to issue a permit in accordance with Ordinance No. 397. Carried. Motion by Burgin, second by Jones, instructing the City Clerk to refund M. A. Berg X50.00, in accar~dance with Section 7A of Ordinance No. 397. Carried.
