Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem
?~7m. P. Jones, in the absence of Mayor H. J. Pfeiffer, with the follavrir~ mem-
bers and city of~icials present: Coxmni.ssioner M. D. &isg3n, City Attorney
Carl C. Patrick, Supt. of Public '1~orls ~V. A. Arth~m, and City Clerk J. E.
I~~hildoon.
~•7inutes of the last meetings were read and approved.
11Irr. Jimmie Stevrart appeared before the Commission and complained of the city
grading up Fourth Street bettiveen Main and A, ~n*hore he and Geo. Mc ~4i71.an had
recently oiled the street. He also complained about his sidewalk, where it
had been chipped off by the road contractor.
The Commi.ssiari promised to replace the oil within the next fear days and look
over his sidewalk.
l~lotion by Burgin second by Jones, authorizing the Ci~~r Clerk to spend up to
X28.35 far' Papering the Firemen s quarters.
Carried;
rQotion by Bergin, second by Jones, to allow Vance Turner X50.00 for expense
money being necessary for him to go to Austin, Texas to take his exarsination
as City Plumbing Inspector.
Carried.
Motion by Burgin, second by Jones, to award job to Everson Manufacturing
Corporation pex bid (2l~7.00) far repair and overhaul of sterElator at
sewage treatmorrt plant.
Carried.
