The T~ayor recuestcd the City Clerk to open and r~=zd aloud the bids he had received
on curb and gutter on South Second Street, bets^reen I~:2ain and "~" Stroets. The Cl:.rk
informed the Gomr~i.ssion -tL~a.t he had only one bid in z~rriting. The bids gore ta.~,;lated
as f ollotirs:

I hereby propose to flmrLish all 7_auor and matcxial and tools to

the sum of ;71.50 ner running fort, useing 2500 lb. gravel con-
crete, rcir1orcedy~~r~.th 6-b-10 z~ire mesh. City to do all engin-
eering aril rough gr~~.din If City don't do ~rading~ add the sum
o_f 20¢ per foot to above price. If curb isn't rP,inforced, deduct
B¢ per running foot. All payMents to be made by City of La Porte
on completion of job.
