Special meeting of t he City Commission ~,ras called to order by I;Iayor Pro-Tem ~~m. P. Jones, with the following members and city officials present: Commissioner M. D. Burin, and City Clerk J. E. I~.iuldoon. 572 The Commission unanimously appointed Iss. Hallie '~~fright as Presiding f~fficer, and hers. Arbela Ralston and Ivlrs. Lois Compton as Assistant Judges of the Regular Biennial Elec- tion of City officials. Mayor Pro-Tem Jones introduced an ordinance ~rhich eras read in full by the City Clc-~k. Commissioner Burgin made a motion that the Ord:n.ance be adopted as read. Carried. • • The Commission unanimously instructed the City Clerk to have printed and post notice of the City election to be held on April 22, 1952, for the election of a Mayor and tti~o (2} Couanissioners, in accordance with Ordinance No, 1.122.
