Regular meeting of t he City Commission was cal led to order by Pdayor M. D. Burgin,
with the following members and city officials present: Commissioner Robert A.
_ ~ ZYhite, Supt. of Public ;'larks 1.'t. r".. ^sthur, and City Clerk J. E, h.4uldoon.
~~Tinutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The ~~.ister of the Church of Christ appeared before the Commission and request-
ed permission to build a septic tank on theix property in Block 133, La Porte,
He stated they would rather be connected to the city1 s sevrer system, however,
they t~rere not able to finance such a project.
The Commission turned the matter over to fir. Arthur, Public ti'rorks Superintendent,
for price of construction of aline to the church property, and to see other
property owners served by this line sharing the cost of the line. The minister
was advised that after •they had exhausted all means and found they could not
construct a sever main, then c ertainly he could build a septic tanlt.

all ctiuxches to be constructed in La Porte.

The City Clexk presented the Commission with an application for a building per-
mit on an addition to a dame residence in the File Zone. It was the consensus
of opinion of the Commission that while the new ordinance on building eras not
' yet ir1 affect, they should act in the spixit of the Ordinance to be passed. The
Comm-i.ssion instructed the City Clerk to procure a complete application before
passing upon it.

to J. 0, Rollins, for x$200.00, for expense moneys for four firemen attending
A, & IVI. College for Firemen~s Training School.
