Section 6: That notice of. said election shall be given by posting a substantial copy of this ordinance at the City Hall, and one other public place within said City not less than fourteen (1It) days prior to the date on which said election is to be held, and by publication of said notice on the same day in each of two successive weeks i.n a newspaper of gaieral circulation published within said City, the first of said publications to be. made not later than fourteen (11~) days prio~° to the date set for skid election. I~ul.doon i y er , i y o La Po e, exas Mr . Ernest L . Brawn, Jr . , appeared before the Commission and talked of the Bond Election to be held December 9, 1952. Mr, C. F, Payton, representing A. B, Moore Engineering Company, appeared befar~e the Commission and spoke of different types of streets and drainage n©eded. The Commission unanimously agreed that fc~ 8" compacted stabilized shell flexibly; base with penetrated asphalt arxl gravel topping for x,80 cents per lineal foot, total amount, based on the total footage cs~vned by the lard owner, the City would take care of the intersecta.ons and the 16 foot strip by the alleys, and t he engineering costs. The minimum street would be 18 feet in width. The City Clerk read a letter from the Karpark Corporation in connection with can- celling order given them on the 28th day of October, 1950. 2'hey stated they f eft sure they could do this as soon as they contacted their salesman, ~. Fred L. Sharp. Mr. Ec~ard J.Cade made a report on the controversy between the Pfeiffer interests and Benjamin F, Kaufman, which also is assu-ned to involve a city street. The Com~aiission instructed N.~.Cade to contact Frank R.
