The City Clerk read inspection costs fnom the Southern Inspect3oa~ Servl.ce, Inc., and thg Danes F, Smith Laboratories. Motion by Rigby, second ~' WhL te, to employ the Southern Inspecta.on Service to make the tests on the pav.Lng, tests to bs made only upon City Engineers s request. Carried. Motiaa by Whit e, seQOnd by Rigby, t o employ B. Don Skelton as Foreman in the Public Naa~ks Derpart~aent to oversee tha construction and reauodel3~g of the City Hall Annet~t, consideration X2.73-3/1~ per' hour, and ten cents per hour recital fc~c tools. Carried. The Ca~raissian were of the unanimous opinion that the Ftunble Oil and Refining Coanpas~ should build an island around fire hydrant at 10th Street, acxl the City extend $" line t o llth Street. • • -The City Clerk read a letter from the St. Johns s ~iscopal Church ixi rich thc~ requested to build a breezeRay consisting of a floor, roof and screened side walls, in the Alleys to cora~ect• the present church to the present Parish Hawse. They fhrther stated "we fully urr3erstand that in case of ptablic utility repairs and installations that we put this breezeesy up• at our acre risk, but we would like to have permission to go ahead with this small pr©~ect.e Motion by White, second by Rigby, to grant St. Johns ~iiscopal Church permiss- ion to construct a fooar foot breeze~r as thew requested.
