The Commission instructed him t o contact the Federal Attorneys, and try to neUo- tiate acompromise settlement, The City Clerk submitted a request from T?r. James H. Baker, Superintendent of the La Porte Independent School District, for t he City of La Porte to annex Block No. 103, La Porte, on which the new colored school is located. The Conmd.ssion was unanimously in f aver of armexang this block, if they would comply with Section 9, Page ~., of the City s Home Rule Charter.
