A discussion was held on traffic J_igkzts far Broadway and "J", and Broadway and "G".
Aftex much discussion, motion by ~~lhiite, second by Rigby, to have a liUht installed
in some manner at F3roach*ray an "G", azd instructed the Superintendent of Streets to
get the cost of game.

The Commission instructed the City Clerk to mail. two certified copies of Ordinance
No. x.50 to the Texas Highc~ay Department.
The Comru.ssion tnrere unanimous in taking street assessments on Highw~rs 225 ana£ 1t~6,
on work set out in Ordinance No. x.50, assessmc~,ts to be for 18 months, at 8 o ire
terest.

in connection vri.th Ter.-1.~I.-P551.
The Commission instructed him t o contact the Federal Attorneys, and try to neUo-
tiate acompromise settlement,
The City Clerk submitted a request from T?r. James H. Baker, Superintendent of the
La Porte Independent School District, for t he City of La Porte to annex Block No.
103, La Porte, on which the new colored school is located.
The Conmd.ssion was unanimously in f aver of armexang this block, if they would
comply with Section 9, Page ~., of the City s Home Rule Charter.
