Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor Burgin, ~.th the folloav3.ng members and city officials present C~ni.ssioners L. R. Rigby and Robert A. ~Vhite,~Supt. of Public forks ~.A. Arthur, City Attorney Edward J. Cade, and City Clerk J.E. Muldoon. .Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Mr. Fs•ancis X. Houlihan, representing T. B. Trotter Company, Certified Public Accountants, Auditor far the City, appeared before the Commission in quest of a contract for additional moneyxs. It was called to his attention that they already had a contract with T. B. Trotter Company, which would rim for another year. Mr. Houlihan stated he was unaware of the exl.sting contract, and cer- tainly his ccxnpat~y would honor it, but ask if they would consider raising the fee. The Commission answerel hint that they had so much money set up in the B udget far the audit, but would consaal.er it in the next Budget hearing. Mr. Jesse Beall and Mr.~ Mil-ton deck, Plumbers, appeared before the Ccm~ni.ssion, and aired their grievances. It was explained to them that the City and the Plumbing Inspector were cooperating with the plumbers,.. and ask that tha plumbers appoint a Board to investigate any grievances they had with the City, and the City certainly would .cooperate with them in straightening them out. A discussion was held on the Rocket Bus stop. Motion by ~Yri.te, second by Rigby, t o give them 30 ,feet of parking space on North First and Main Streets, adjacent to the Taxi Stand. Carried. Mot ion by Rigby, second by ?~hite, .to place a Stop Sign on Hi~ay ].46, enter- ing the Five Points Circle. , Carried. Motion by Rigby, second by ~Phite, to ,furnish desk space in the City Ha11 to the State Highway Depaxt~ent. Carried. Motion by 1Nhi.te, second by Rigby, to curb and gutter 125 feet on nAtt, and 125 feet on Third Street, far Art Simpson, at X1.65 Per lineal foot. The City Clerk read a letter from the first Methodist Church, thanking the Commission for fill i3rt Which was used to fill in the loR places on their chx~ch property.
